Hi, I'm Claire
An Artist Without Limits
My first core memory of loving film and animation was when I was 13. I saw the Marvel film Doctor Strange in the theater with my dad, and at the moment the film started, I was convinced that I had found my calling. I was pulled through the silver screen, and my mind raced with the possibilities of my future. The idea of creating worlds and people that embodied physical and mental abilities of another universe all of a sudden drew me in.
After I rose from my seat in that theater, my mind was made up. I was going to embark on a life long journey into the booming digital world, and all I was bringing was my brain, my camera, and my computer. From there, now almost 10 years later, I am taking the next step in my journey to discover my future through digital creation, filmmaking, and photography.
Where I'm From &
What I'm Doing Now
I was born an early Gen Z child in late 2002. I was heavily influenced by early aughts television and movies from the likes of 20th Century Fox, Universal Studios, Walt Disney, and Pixar. I have lived in 4 different states: New Jersey, Indiana, Arizona, and Pennsylvania. I have spent the last 10 years of my life in PA, on both the east and western side of the state.
On May 4th, 2025, I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Narrative and Interactive Design. While the name may be a mouthful, the study itself is quite simple: a combination of classes with hands-on and critical theory experience in the fields of arts, humanities, and computer science. My secondary major is Film and Media Studies with a focus on Film Production, and I also have a minor in Spanish and a certificate in Public Communications of Science and Technology.
I now work full time with Fireside Events LLC in Allison Park, Pennsylvania, about 20 minutes from Downtown Pittsburgh. I am a part of their internal team, where my role includes managing a productive office environment, meeting with event planning team members, and creating successful marketing campaigns to help boost brand and company awareness.

Digital Design
My primary interests all lie in the digital world. I graduated from Pitt in 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Narrative and Interactive Design. At my core, I want to tell stories. Stories of data, journeys, methods, and conclusions all through forms of media like video games, websites, short films, and photos. No story is too big, and no audience is too small. Everywhere, there are endless possibilities to share what the world is doing. DNID, for short, has completely changed my view of the question "What would your dream job be?" That can now be answered with one word: everything.
Filmmaking
Film has always been both an escape and an obsession for me. Since I was young, I have been fascinated by movies, both live action and animated. From the birth of an idea to the small Samsung television in my living room, I have dreamed of being a part of the filmmaking process. I have technical experience in a plethora of digital programs like Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer, and DaVinci Resolve. I have created two short films during my undergraduate, one being nominated for an honorable mention award during my study abroad experience in England.
Photography
They say creativity is not always genetic, but to me, the makeup of my brain had some influences from my family members before I even knew them. Both of my grandfathers, before they passed, were avid photographers in Canada. Any time we went out as a family when I would visit them, they both always had a camera in their hands. I vividly remember being in my grandparents' homes and staring at the beautiful pictures printed and hung on the walls. Since age 15, I have taken my passion for photography to new heights and created my own media business specializing in photography and design.
